General terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all offers, contracts or oral agreements made between 8 Days A Week and any other professional or private party unless other agreements are made for specific projects, clinics or programs.
These terms and conditions also apply to coaches/freelancers who work for or are hired by 8 Days A Week for any projects, clinics or programs.
Booking a clinic/coaching and payment
Registration must be done via our website www.8daysaweek.be or by e-mail.
At the end of the online registration form there might be the possibility to pay the fee directly.
There is also the possibility to pay later by invoice. Payments should be received at least 14 days after invoice date.
After registration you will receive a confirmation email. In case of any difficulties or questions, please send an email to info@8daysaweek.be
Clinics and regatta coaching are usually subsequent days. Unless otherwise stated it’s not possible to pay per day.
8 Days A Week has the right to cancel a clinic/coaching event if the minimum number of entries have not been received 30 days prior to the start date.
A clinic/coaching event consists only coaching during these days. All costs for the coach (rib, fuel, travel and accommodation etc.) are included.
Sailors need to arrange their own traveling arrangements, accommodation and boat transport unless otherwise stated online at the specific clinic information page.
The above stated elements are not included in the price unless otherwise stated.
During some clinics/coaching events 8 Days A Week can provide charter boats and ribs. For more info about prices and conditions contact us at Info@8daysaweek.be
Cancellation policy
In case you want to cancel a booking we have the following options:
– Full refund of payment when the clinic/coaching and/or charter event is cancelled at least 90 days before the start date of the clinic
– 50% refund of payment when the clinic/coaching and/or charter is cancelled between 90 and 30 days before the start date of the clinic/coaching event.
– No refund after cancellation within 30 days of the start date of the clinic/coaching event and/or charter.
In exceptional circumstances 8 Days A week may offer an alternative solution.
General safety and insurance policy
Each sailor participates entirely at their own risk.
Sailors should have a valid insurance and being in good health.
All sailors should wear a personal flotation device and have suitable clothing for the conditions. 8 Days A Week will not be liable for any damage to equipment or people.
By participating in a 8 Days A Week clinic/event you grant us to make, use and show videos and pictures.
By participating in a 8 Days A Week clinic/event you may be required to carry advertising on the first 25% of the hull or wearing a sponsor bib/tanktop.
By participating in a 8 Days A Week clinic/event you may be required to carry suitable clothing at opening or prize giving ceremonies.
